Prototype Composites CFS1 Exige

As the title says, here we have a 1-off (in other words, there isn't another one) Carbon Fiber composite Lotus Exige. It was created by Prototype Composites for a private client. The placement of the Carbon Twill was done by Craig Brewer, an apparent master at working with composites.

Here's a quick tech sheet:

- The Carbon Fiber and Kevlar body shaved 82lbs from the original fiberglass body. On average, each panel is 40% lighter than stock and twice as strong.
- RealTime Racing Acura TSX K24 engine producing 311 whp. Vehicle weight 1707lbs. This equates to a remarkable 5.4 lbs/hp. For perspective, the McLaren F1 has a 4.8 lb/hp ratio.
- Hondata K-Pro ECU (<~~~ the shiznit)
- Engine conversion handled by Phong Thao
- Exhaust handled by Andrew Armistead
- Motor mounts handled by Joe McCarthy
- Rear sub-frame modifications and shift linkage by Alan O'Leary
